"Oh No!, Those are Blue Lights"
The First time i was pulled over for speeding was a very exciting and intense experience. Me and some friends met up at a local fast food restaurant after work to just hang out and chill. We finished eating and decided to take the party to a friend's house only a few miles away. Me and another friend in his car pulled up to a red light and revved our engines, like dumb high school boys do. I rolled my window down and asked if he would like to race there, and he jumped at the offer. I then took off down a side road and he took the highway route to see which way was faster. The road i took was a small thirty mile per hour road. I accelerated to about sixty five miles per hour before coming to a sharp ten mile per hour turn. when I got to the turn i slowed down a little then power slid the turn and hopped right back on the clutch and then throttle. Little did i know that a police officer was following me from the red light but was to far back to see yet. I hit a half mile straight a way and got up to eighty five miles per hour before the cop was close enough to see with lights flashing in the distance as she caught up. She then proceeded to pull me over for going eighty five in a thirty five mile an hour zone. She continued to question and yell at me for my dangerous and reckless behavior. She decided to call my mother off my cell phone and ask that her and my step dad at the time come to the scene of the crime. My parents showed up and showed there emotions in the form of yelling and telling me how grounded and in trouble i was, so the officer let me go with a verbal warning. My punishment turned out to be 5 days with no car but at the time i was working seventy hours a week so i did not really mind.
